Strategi Memaksimalkan Peran Orang Tua Dalam Menumbuhkan Kepercayaan Diri Anak Di Keluarga Kristiani

Abstract
Self-confidence is important for a child because apart from being directly connected to the child's self-actualization, it is also related to channeling the child's creativity. In addition, self-confidence contributes to children's social-emotional intelligence, and is an important element for children's success in the future. This means that self-confidence is very necessary for a child, especially when in a social environment. The family should be the first and foremost place for children to grow their self-confidence through guidance and guidance from their parents. This article attempts to describe strategies that parents can apply at home to grow their children's self-confidence to the maximum. By collaborating with descriptive methods and literature studies, it is hoped that we can provide an in-depth description of the Bible about self-confidence, the urgency of self-confidence for children, and parents' strategies for cultivating children's self-confidence to the maximum. It was concluded that the strategy that parents can play to foster their child's self-confidence so that it grows optimally is by making themselves a role model that the child can imitate, using the momentum of the child's golden age, taking on the role of a mechanic when the child's self-confidence is problematic, and harmonizing the relationship with the child.

Abstrak
Kepercayaan diri penting bagi seorang anak karena selain terkoneksi langsung pada aktualisasi diri anak juga dalam kaitan penyaluran kreativitas anak. Selain itu, kepercayaan diri menyumbang kecerdasan sosial emosional kepada anak, serta menjadi elemen penting bagi kesuksesan anak di masa depan. Ini artinya Kepercayaan diri sangat dibutuhkan bagi seorang anak terutama ketika berada dilingkungan sosialnya. Di keluargalah seharusnya menjadi tempat pertama dan utama bagi anak untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan dirinya melalui bimbingan dan tuntunan dari kedua orang tuanya. Artikel ini berupaya mendeskripsikan strategi yang bisa orang tua terapkan di rumah untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri anak secara maksimal. Dengan mengkolaborasikan metode deskripsi dan kajian literatur diharapkan bisa memberikan secara mendalam gambaran Alkitab tentang kepercayaan diri, urgensi kepercayaan diri bagi anak, dan strategi orang tua menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri anak secara maksimal. Disimpulkan bahwa strategi yang orang tua bisa perankan untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri anak agar bertumbuh maksimal adalah dengan menjadikan dirinya panutan yang bisa ditiru oleh anak, menggunakan momentum usia emas anak, mengambil peran menjadi montir ketika percaya diri anak bermasalah, dan mengharmoniskan hubungan dengan anak.
